We have created the Time for the Trades Initiative to foster partnerships to grow and develop workforce pipelines and build awareness of training, apprenticeship or further education opportunities in our region.

PA CareerLink Apprenticeship Program For Employers
The Pre-Apprentice and Apprenticeship Grant Program is a statewide program which offers assistance to registered apprenticeship programs. The program's goal is to increase apprenticeship availability to Pennsylvania employers to assist them with their talent recruitment and development.

CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION & OPPORTUNITY:
The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) offers innovative Adult Education programs at its three Technical College High School (TCHS) Campuses. Adults looking to earn industry certifications, licenses or general training in high-priority occupations are invited to explore the opportunities that abound at their local TCHS Campus: the Brandywine Campus in Downingtown, the Pickering Campus in Phoenixville and the Pennock's Bridge Campus in West Grove.
Thaddeus Stevens College offers 24 high-skill, high-wage technical programs.
Delaware County Community College’s skilled trades programs offer certificate and associate degree opportunities.
Williamson College of the Trades offers programs in carpentry, masonry, machine, electrical, power plant and landscape.
