Unruh Turner Burke & Frees is pleased to announce that Lauren A. Nehra, an
experienced and compassionate litigator, has joined the firm. Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to client service, focusing in trust and estate litigation, including disputes involving estates, trusts, guardianships, powers of attorney, and other fiduciary matters.
Lauren’s experience in Orphans’ Court litigation and her dedication to advocating for her clients make her a valuable addition to the Unruh Turner Burke & Frees team. Her practice will concentrate on all forms of estate and trust disputes, including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty cases, surcharge and removal actions, guardianships, and interpretation
issues. Lauren is also regularly appointed by the Chester County Orphans’ Court to represent individuals in the adult guardianship process, underscoring her reputation as a trusted and skilled litigator.
Lauren’s academic and professional achievements reflect her dedication to excellence in the legal field. She earned her law degree magna cum laude from Widener University Delaware Law School, where she was an active member of the
Moot Court Honor Society and received multiple awards for her advocacy skills. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Chester University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Lauren has been recognized by her peers and the legal community for her outstanding work. She has been named to the Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch list for 2024 and 2025, recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2022, and honored as a “Top Lawyer” by both Main Line Today and Daily Local News since 2022. In 2024, she was also
celebrated as a VISTA Millennial Superstar.
In addition to her legal practice, Lauren is deeply involved in the Chester County community. She serves as Chair-Elect of the Chester County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division and is a Director on the Bar Association’s Board. She is also
a Director on the Board of the Chester County Food Bank, contributing to the organization’s efforts to fight hunger in the region. In addition, Lauren is a member of the Pennsylvania and Delaware State Bar Associations.
Lauren resides in Chester County and remains active in various non-profit organizations, including Breakthrough T1D, the leading organization devoted to Type 1 Diabetes research and advocacy.
