The updates given by Borough of Parkesburg at the 2023 Municipal Update were:
- New high pressure gas line coming to Main Avenue.
- Building projects: 700+ new homes.
- Arms Motel is for sale.
- Train station updates: PennDOT and Amtrak have committed to Part 1 of a 3 part updated project.
- Toy Drive, Food Drive, and Christmas on Main coming soon.
- Shopping Center will now feature a grocery store.
