Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance Celebrates 10 Years of Economic Progress with Anniversary Masquerade Gala to Honor Founding Members on May 16

Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance announces its 10-year anniversary, marking a decade of dedicated efforts in driving economic growth and revitalization in the City of Coatesville. Established in 2015 in partnership with the County of Chester and the City of Coatesville, the organization was founded as the city celebrated its centennial, ensuring that its second century would be one of economic prosperity, sustainable development, and renewed opportunity.

To celebrate the milestone, Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance will host its 10-Year Anniversary Masquerade Gala on May 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Arches (600 E. Chestnut Street, Coatesville). This special evening will commemorate a decade of impact and honor founding members from Coatesville Area Partners for Progress (CAPP), whose vision and leadership laid the foundation for success. “As we reflect on the past decade, Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance has been at the forefront of numerous transformative initiatives that have shaped the City’s economic landscape,” says Amber Little-Turner, Executive Director, Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance. “We have led efforts in downtown revitalization by facilitating strategic investments that brought new businesses, improved infrastructure, and a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem to life.”

Throughout the past decade, the organization has collaborated with key partners to support small businesses, attract employers, and expand access to critical resources that create economic opportunities for Coatesville residents. Community-driven approaches include initiatives like the Made in Coatesville Small Business Incubator, which offers local entrepreneurs a platform to launch and grow their ventures.

“Our success has been fueled by strong public-private partnerships that have helped secure funding and drive forward innovative projects that benefit the entire community,” says Little-Turner. “As we continue to move forward, our driving forces remain unchanged, supporting small businesses, creating equitable economic opportunities, and fostering a thriving, inclusive community. “
