You’ve just become a new Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce member. How exciting! You’re taking a huge step as a business owner, expanding your network, connecting with your community, and supporting regional and economic growth. With all the new information being thrown at you, it can also be overwhelming. You want to start your membership effectively and get the most out of your membership, without missing out on any perks. Here’s nine easy steps to make sure you start your membership off on the right foot.
Set up a member login
- Your login gives you access to many essential membership features, such as paying invoices and registering for events. Need the link to create an account? Here it is.
Customize your profile
- Get creative! Add a business description, hours of operations, employee contact information, pictures, and more. Detailed profiles are more likely to get page views.
Set up a meeting with us
- Let us get to know you and your business goals – it’s how we’ll help you the best. We host a monthly program called ‘Making the Most of Your Chamber Membership’ (Fourth Tuesday of the month, alternating between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. start times – Check out the event calendar for the next one!) where you can learn how to take full advantage of your membership, and we can learn how to best support you. Can’t make it? No worries – we can always set up a one-on-one meeting.
Follow our social media
- Stay in the know. WCCCC is extremely active on our social media platforms, sharing events, member news and visits, Chamber updates, and more.
Attend a Chamber event
- Meet other members of WCCCC. We have a wide variety of events, from monthly networking mixers, ribbon cuttings, and business tours to large scale, Signature events, including our Gala on the Greene, Annual Dinner, and Municipal Update. There’s something for everyone! Pick what suits you and your business best.
Add our logo to your website
- Chamber membership is a verification for your business. Let your customers and partners know that you’re a verified Chamber member. Those with Chamber membership proudly advertised are more likely to increase sales and generate revenue!
Consider a Member-to-Member Deal
- WCCCC members share resources, ideas, and patronize one another. Become a part of the community and offer a deal on your services, for Chamber members only.
Consider a Committee
- 71 business owners and community leaders serve on one of our committees; join these elite professionals and make invaluable contributions and connections. Read our committee descriptions here.
