NOMINATE A BUSINESS!

WCCCC is proud to provide special recognition to the ChescoWest small business community by presenting the Western Chester County Small Business of the Year Award to be presented at the Chamber's Annual Member Extravaganza.

Small businesses are the backbone of our local and national economies, representing more than 95 percent of all employers, creating three-fourths of all new jobs, and accounting for more than one-half of the nation’s gross domestic product.

This award recognizes one exceptional small business owner for his or her tireless work and embodiment of the spirit of enterprise.


The Nomination form opens December 1st and closes January 4th

AWARD REQUIREMENTS

ELIGIBILITY FOR SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS:

A business must meet the following requirements:

  • 50 employees or less
  • Be in business for more than three consecutive years
  • Be a current Chamber Member

 

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS WILL BE JUDGED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Performance and business history
  • Workplace culture, staff training and motivation
  • Community involvement
  • Customer service and satisfaction
  • Business plan or strategies and goals
  • Strategy for growth

Nominations will be evaluated by the Chamber's Executive Committee and Programs Committee.
